Meet the Artist

Isabel Kelly is an American artist who works primarily with object based mixed media. Her favorite methods of making include sewing, 3D printing, and acrylic painting. The themes she explores in her work often revolve around a narrative. She traverses the art of storytelling by weaving details within her work. Narratives being examined can vary from theatrical plays to slice of life vignettes.

Isabel has exhibited at Lawrence University in their 2021 Senior Art Exhibition, as well as the XChange at Carthage College in 2019. She has also interned with Third Avenue Playworks in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, USA and Degree Art/Artellite at Somerset House London, England. Her BA is from Lawrence University, majoring in Studio Art and Theatre and she is currently in Alberta, Canada earning her MFA in Art at the University of Lethbridge.
